Gita Arjun is a well-known obstetrician and gynecologist who has strived to enhance the knowledge base of obstetricians and gynecologists. Towards this end, she has been organising the PROGRESS series of conferences since 1993. She is the former Director, E V Kalyani Medical Centre, Chennai.  She is one of the editors of The Management of Labour (Third edition) and the author of the bestselling book, Passport to a Healthy Pregnancy.

Lakshmi Seshadri is former Professor and Head of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore. She has been an exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate teacher for over three decades. She is the author of Essentials of Gynecology and is currently working on a textbook in Obstetrics.

Uma Ram is the Director and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at Seethapathy Clinic and Hospital, Chennai. She is a popular speaker and is actively associated with postgraduate education. She is a coordinator to Part 2 MRCOG courses in Chennai and has co-authored MRCOG Part 2: A Structured Approach.
